Goal: Link the building’s history to the new tech-focused company.
Role: Freelance EGD and signage designer. I collaborated with another EGD designer who worked directly with the architect.
Project Description: I researched the building’s history at the New York Public Library, gathered inspiration images, and created new artwork that links the past to the future. I used forms from the railroad and Hudson River shipping lines, then added modern slide and glitch motion to the custom pieces. I designed the two-story stairwell space and matching signage that coordinates with the client’s palette.
