Monograph Book

Goal: To create instant creditability for potential clients

Role: Art Director, Designer, Project Manager

Project Description: Over the course of a year, I collaborated closely with three principals of PDR, an architecture firm, to craft a comprehensive 150-page book, a testament to PDR's journey. We engaged an external consultant and even switched writers to ensure its successful development. The book is a mosaic of diverse case studies that intricately weave together the narrative of PDR.

As the driving force behind the project, I provided art direction, orchestrated meetings, art direction for page layouts, curated images, and crafted bespoke art reflecting PDR's ethos. From capturing candid photographs to steering brainstorming sessions with ten principals, we collectively envisioned a book composed of case studies that mirrored PDR's design strategy and aspirations. Coordinating with international vendors from the Houston office, I managed the project end-to-end, handling budgets and liaising with photographers for reshoots and design refinements. The outcome was not only a chronicle of PDR's 30-year-old architectural venture but also a tool to establish credibility and garner new business opportunities, significantly boosting PDR's business prospects.
